"Amazing cliff top sea views gorgeous empty beach. Quirky accommodation with all you need for a short stay. Host was a very friendly and helpful guy. We went by train but a car would be beneficial as although not far from the village it's a little remote with unlit dirt tracks probably ok in summer but not recommended coming home from the village pub in the dark. "What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
