Decent little scottish town, not a great deal to do If we hadnt just come from the Isle of Skye we would have been more impressed. Bars dont take card, so carry cash!

"A lovely loaction and authentic experience. Many of the staff are an asset to the hotel. The plumbing and creaky floors leave something to be desired, particlarly the shower drainage and water pressure."

"Great views of the harbour from room 1. The room was small but adequate. The whole hotel is tired. Black mould around the shower base and tiles. Lovely harbour. Castle walk was great and the views were worth the climb. The whole area was interesting and great to explore.

There is not a lot in Tarbert itself but if you do a bit of homework before you go there are lots of places to visit within a 30 min drive in Kintyre.
