"I saw a lot of ants in the room crawling on the table. Ceiling have crack. Water pressure in the bathroom seems low. I requested to change the bedsheet and pillowcases after 5 days since i booked my room for 9 days. "

"Great experiance here. It is a large house in a gated residential neighborhood; sort of like a Bed and Breakfast crossed with an international travelers hostel. I met people from four different countries. Food is very European and atmosphere was welcoming. The owners are very nice and everything worked. I will be returning for the food alone."

"This hotel is much better than the condos downtown. The staff were so helpful and sweet. I stayed at one resort on Samal and one tower. The aircon and cleanliness at YellowPad is superior. Good job staff!"

"Travelled 10,000 miles over 30 hours to find they had doubled booked and had no room for me when I got there. No one on site to talk too. "

"I booked the room for 5 people. When we arrived for check in, we were to that only 4 people could stay at the booked price and we would have to pay an additional P500 for the 5th person! So we paid it because we had no choice. This is >very wrong!!!"

"The property is walking distance to People's Park. There are dine in options that are a must have when you are doing the DIY tour."

"Great price, good AC unit (keep room cold). Very basic. Its a shelf and a bed. Staff is friendly enough, and though dated and right next to the slums it feels pretty safe. The building and decor are seem super old and alot of lights are left off- likely to save the hotel money. There's a simple shop in the lounge where you can buy chips, noodles, water, etc for 10-50 php each. "Its not the most fancy place, but definitely good for budget travel. Good location in the busy and historic street of the city. Though the street itself can get crowded. The only thing is my room did not have much of a window so could not get any natural lighting. The curtain can't seen to be moved. "

"Nice location! We attended a 2day conference at SMX and this hotel is located right across SMX with a covered footbridge! Very convenient to go back to the hotel for a quick break from the conference. Staff are also friendly and helpful."
