"The room was clean. The public onsen tend to be very crowded. They not really clean between customers. We bought a token for a massage in a massage chair and didn't get to use it, they didn't refund the money. The drinks are pretty average. The breakfast was ok. "

"We’ve read the reviews of other people before the visit and we did not know what to expect. We stayed at the property for two nights and we were quite happy with our stay. Dinner and breakfast were very good, private onsens were amazing. Private onsens could use a good scrub (that was the only con for our stay). Access is via a bus from Takayama 1.5h - plenty of walks around. "
