"Wonderful stay"

"Greatly enjoyed this stay. Big resort up in the hills offering a great view of the city out the windows. The room was big and comfortable. For dinner, we ordered the special set dinner for two which was fantastic with great service. For breakfast, it was a buffet but great nonetheless. The onsens were spacious with multiple pools. The only negative, which was a big one, was the self laundry facilities. The four machines looked modern but they weren’t. Firstly, four machines for a hotel of this size is inadequate. Worse, the dryers didn’t dry. People had their clothes in there for an hour and they were still pretty wet. We ended up having to abandon ship after midnight and went to a local laundromat the next day. They need to upgrade these machines!"

"The staff could speak conversational English and provided us with information of the attractions and eating places. The hotel is just next to the train station and short wakiing distance to the historical streets and morning market. The hotel also offered complimentary mini bar such as soft drinks and local wines. If there is an onsite onsen, it will be perfect. The partner'sonsen serviceus a distbce away and we couldn't park there."

"Although right next to the train line and busy roads, it was still very quiet. Stayed in a bunk suite and the room was huge with a big kitchen, living room and bunks over 2 double beds. The bath on the balcony was so unique. The staff were very friendly and helpful."
