"Lovely big apartment on a very well kept complex. Will definitely stay again. loved being so close to the hypersldino for fresh pastries for breakfast and a few minutes walk down to the strip. Very central location."

"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "

"Only here for one night. Rooms a good size comfy bed and dead quiet and dark to sleep in. The foods good 2 good sizes pools and right across the road for the beach. We just got the local bus here €1.40 3 stops from airport if goes to terminal 2 Would stay again perfect for what we needed "

"Bad start to our stay. Booked a table for dinner on the first night. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. Really bad communication. The accommodation itself was good and the reception staff were excellent "

"Loved the fact we didn’t have to deposit for tv remote,had an iron and hairdryer. Bathroom and bedroom had plenty of storage. Pool and bar good too."

"overall it was a great stay. Only complaints are that our Electricity tripped out 1 night whilst cooking dinner on my wife's last night and had to wait for an hour and a half before it was put back on by an electrician. The wait was acceptable but we were told he would be 20 mins.... Other than that we wuould have liked clean sheets more than once a week. The staff were all friendly and it was very laid back and quiet."

"Jutta at reception was very helpful. We had a couple of maintenance problems and they were dealt with immediately. Jutta gets things done! Also had a couple of problems with the cleaner and Jutta corrected it imeediately. We would definitely return. "

"2nd time I've stayed at Agua Marina Apartments and would not hesitate to go back, the apartments are a great walk from the strip in a quieter part of Old Town, only downside was on the first day we both had a shower one after the other and the second shower was cold, spoke to reception and they said this happens sometimes so we then waited a bit between showers and all was fine, apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, as I said, I would not hesitate to go back, cracking...

"First time staying at Plaza Azul, spotlessly clean, good house keeping services throughout. Apartments are well equipped, everything you need for doing your own food if required. All the staff were amazing & helpful all the way. Good secure safe in the apartment & very cheap price for key rental. The pool & outside bar area was always spotlessly clean & well attended by staff. Plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day. "Central location, with beach nearby and easy access to cafes/bars/restaurants. Swimming pool small & not many sunbeds around it, always reserved by towels first thing in morning. Apartments basic but have all you need, bring own hair dryer or you can hire from reception. Safe available to hire €2.50 a day. Cleanliness is to a high standard! Staff are very friendly and work hard. If poor mobility request ground floor, as lots of steps up to first floor apartments."

"The property we had was ideal straight out the door to the pool. Was well equipped. Only downfall was the shower. And only had our bedding changed once in 10 days. But staff were lovely and very helpful will definitely be back"

"We had a great experience at Lanzarote Barcelo Active Resort. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Close to airport and beaches. Big rooms. Good food options in buffet. Would have liked more vegetarian main course options. One suggestion to have separation between vegetarian and non-vegetarian to avoid cross contamination. Lanzarote is a beautiful island to visit. Definitely recommend."

"This is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Plenty of space and hotel never felt full. Plenty of sunbeds ( no getting up at ridiculous times) and the food ( half board) was excellent value for money. Hotel is mainly filled with 50 age group but if you want a week in the sun, very chilled quiet and relaxed this is a superb choice. "

Professional staff, great location and values

"We stayed during Christmas period and really appreciate the hard work of all staff at reception, restaurant etc to provide normal desk service, cleaning of our room, pool, and various kind of activities. Our door lock is also quickly repaired. They are very professional and friendly. It makes our holiday a pleasant stay. Even our room is not the modern style, we are very happy with the layout with a living room and beautiful seaview/pool view at balcony. Great location, easy to walk around and we also took free shuttle to Playa Grande. "
