Lilianfels is situated on the edge of the cliffs and within walking distance of the Three Sisters and Katoomba Falls. It is a quaint property with beautiful gardens. The service by the staff was outstanding and they were very helpful. The breakfast buffet is great with a variety of things to eat, mindfulness to allergies and healthy options such as a make your own juice station.

There’s a lot to like about the Lilianfels - classic old hotel feel, spacious rooms, courteous staff, excellent breakfast, and a great location for accessing nearby hiking trails and one main detraction - the property shows its age in a couple of ways (the carpet in our hotel room was somewhat threadbare, the skirt on the bed was partially shredded and the carpet in the “studio room” adjacent to the exercise room was filthy). Notwithstanding the age-related issues, we would stay at the hotel again if we were visiting the Blue Mountains area.

It's a great location, just a 5-6 minute walk from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains. All the staff were very kind to me, who is not good at English. The room and the bath were spacious and comfortable. The pool in the garden was also nice. The breakfast buffet was available from 7am. It was delicious. I walked from the nearest station.
