This was an amazing stay! The Dome was super clean and warm even in the winter.
It was raining super hard throughout the night to the point the river was flooding and taking trees with it. Not one leak happened all night long.
We definitely will be coming back. Awesome place and experience!

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room is beautiful and so neat. You can get some amazing photos and the beds were very comfortable.
My issues were we never saw any staff, at check in or check out. There's no walkway to the rooms and it was raining so it's very difficult with bigger bags or a cooler. The bathroom had roaches, I know it's glamping so there's bugs but roaches freak me out and then I felt extremely uncomfortable having bags in the room at all. A very neat experience, beautiful scenery would not stay again.
Stayed here previously and all was wonderful. This time the wonderful manager Jill works there no more. New management needs a lot of training! We stayed in a Glampout dome. The glampers next to us had an all night off the charts loud party until around 6:30am. One dome guest asked them if they could tone it down around 3am, which resulted in profanity and verbal abuse. Myself and other guests all agreed we wanted to call police but were afraid of retaliation with no overnight management to help us with the situation. The domes were like sleeping in tents, so there was no sound barrier whatsoever. Turns out it was just like camping in a loud campground. Not worth $200! When we talked to the new managers about what we went through the night before, we should have been offered a discount, but nothing was offered to help compensate for the horrible stay.
Breakfast is advertised as deluxe. It's NOT. It was very subpar at best. The 8-hour round trip, our time and our money were such a waste.
Our stay was really good. The dome was private even though it is close to others and close to the main hotel. It was very comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.
Owners were on vacation during our visit but Chris was great with greeting us and getting us oriented with the grounds and town. Enjoy our relaxing stay and enjoy the Jermiah Carpenter Trail and the Elk River.
We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Walnut Glamping Dome so much! This was more like a very nice cabin than the tent-type structure I expected. We were so relaxed, sitting on our deck, looking out over the river, and when we went inside later in the evening, we could do the same thing. Because of the height of the space, the room seems huge - so inviting and full of light. What a wonderful place to wake up on my 66th birthday!
Breakfast in the dining room was very good and the hosts were extra nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.
