"My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Great Ocean Road Resort, it did not feel like we were still in Victoria. It was an amazing resort, with plenty of facilities that were maintained and cleaned. It was a short 10 min walk to the group of shops and restaurants. "The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "
