"I enjoyed my stay at the wyngate, when I first arrived, the lady at the desk was very abrupt, not a good start, but my room looked nice. As you stayed in the room, you started to notice little things like molding, coming off the edges of shelves peeling paint a weird black stain on the ceiling, holes in the curtain where people tried to pin it closed it won’t stay closed… And for the first three nights, the sheets were really, really rough, felt very polyester. "Kind of an old-school motel, with exterior corridors and no elevator. But the room was clean and surprisingly quiet, the beds were fine, and the pool/fountain area is lovely. "

"What a cute little gem tucked in the Chinatown district of DC. It was so easy to walk to famous landmarks and lots of dining options for lunch/dinner for Vegans who are gluten free. Breakfast is a little tough. The crimson diner inside Motto offers a vegan egg breakfast, however they don't keep it in stock. Perhaps calling ahead to inform them might help? The staff is beyond amazing, super helpful. The place is clean and safe. Totally check out their rooftop bar! The only downside is that the walls are paper thin and a lot of guests don't know how to use their indoor voices."

"They’re doing renovations so be forgiving. But my goodness, what they couldn’t offer in making it feel like the Ritz, they certainly made up for it with excellent service and friendliness. This alone made the experience very nice. EVERYONE there was very kind and friendly and I felt very welcomed. I would definitely stay there again. Also, this hotel is PERFECT if you want to go into DC but also want to be kind of close to other areas in the DC Metro area. "
