"This was a very cozy stay. All amenities and documentation were well prepared and the place was clean. The host was very quick to reply on Expedia (less than 5 minutes) even at 20:00/8:00pm. If you have a family, having a rental vehicle is a must since walking is unsafe, especially in the evenings. Parts of the walk from Shimosato station and Taiji station do not have sidewalks. "this hotel is so big that it is a hotel complex, it even has a connivence store. friendly staff, well managed, many hot spring to choose from, include two cave pools located next to the ponding waves. very special place, i like it. only downside is you have to take the free shuttle boat to the hotel (last boat is 7:30pm, after that you have to take taxi)."

"The best value we’ve had in Japan by far. Bed, bath, breakfast and down to earth people. The man we assumed was the owner speaks english, is solicitous to a fault and serves a great breakfast including some of the tuna Nachikatsuura is known for. 800 yen taxi ride from JR Kiikatsuura station if you have bags or ten minute walk if you travel light. So you are in town to see the falls and temples? Spend a couple of nights here and give your money to a small local concern. Leave your patio door open and let the sound of the ocean across the street lull you to sleep. Five stars for us. Thanks to Pal’s Inn. Also listed as Pulse hotel. "

If you have a vehicle this place is perfect!"
