Outfit yourself in stylish ensembles from top designer labels or seek the most fragrant perfumes at Helsinki’s most expansive retail park, Stockmann. Get your hair cut, exercise in the gym or simply get a table away from the crowds and enjoy a fantastic meal.
Originally opened in 1930 and most recently enlarged in 2010, Stockmann is now the largest shopping center of its kind in the city. Stores spread over seven of its eight floors and cover a total area of more than 540,000 square feet (50,000 square meters).
Step over the threshold and into a bright and colorful retail space. Find the latest fashions and the world’s biggest brands. Buy sports gear from Adidas, Nike and other labels or peruse the racks in order to select a new shirt or dress. Rows of cologne vendors offer pleasant scents for men and women.
If you need software or gadgets, find the latest computers, phones and other high-tech items in several electronics stores. Test brand-new gaming systems, marvel at the quality of high-resolution televisions or listen to thumping music played with pristine quality.
For a break from shopping, burn some calories at one of the center’s well-equipped gyms. Instructors are on hand to offer advice for beginners, while experienced gym goers can jog, lift or row to get some good exercise.

Visit Stockmann for food too, with the city’s widest choice of restaurants on the first and eighth floors. Sample everything from delicious pizza to spicy Asian cuisine as well as local favorites.
