"This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "

"This is a good place to stay, spacious and modern right next door to museum Academia and a five minute walk to the Duoma. The only negative is the rooms were very hot, at night was 26c. They finally admitted they close air conditioning in September so we only had ventilation. It was not fun trying to sleep even with windows open. They also have a giant jacuzzi for the shower. If your older with mobility issues, it wouldn’t be great. They need to clean the black mold in calking! It is very...

"The apartment was lovely, in a good location. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. We walked everywhere but there are buses and taxis around. You can walk to the city centre to see the sites very easily. From the city centre we also got the train to Pisa for a day trip. While we were there we communicated with the rental agency via WhatsApp very easily. But I think the process of getting checked in before getting there could be improved. I didn’t get an email with a link to check in...

"The hotel was located on a quiet street on the perimeter of the central historic where sites such as the Duomo and the Ufizi are found. We loved the location as it was quiet and only a 5 minute walk to excellent restauants and 10 minutes to the historic central. The hotel has a nice blend of traditional and modern decor. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful in providing restaurant recommendations. Our garden-view room was much larger than we typically have seen in hotels in Italy. Orto De Medici is a well-priced gem. "
