Had one concern if we had a fire and had to use the stairs need clear markings for escape route I assumed that you need your card to come from room to ground floor I left my card in room and did not know that after getting lost in the stairwell I came to the first floor and a staff member a young man from kitchen area was able to guide me to front desk for recovered card for room

We have stayed here in 2023 and they were doing minor repairs then but room s were nice. Now however This place is under construction. Had to ask for a shower curtain, construction crews everywhere. Mattresses and boxes of carpet pieces in the hall and stairwells. Also in the midst of an ownership change. Not a good time for them to even be open.

I understand that the property is going under renovation, but they should’ve at least clean the room by wiping the tables, taking things that are not supposed to be there, vacuum the floors (it was disgusting, it had dirt all over the place), the bed as very old and I sunk in when i laid. I almost wanted to leave and get another hotel despite of the loss, but I am so exhausted that day since I came from an international trip.

They are open during renovation, and they shouldn’t be. My first room was super moldy, and the ac was pumping out wet air. The carpet and bed were damp. I told the front desk, and they put me in another room. Still had the faint mold smell, but it was obvious someone cleaned up. An hour later, as I’m leaving, I see a couple enter into the same moldy room I was originally assigned. And there is no way in an hour they dried the place out and shampooed the carpets. At the time I didn’t have enough money to leave. Mostly because the price I reserved on Expedia was changed at the front desk . I wish I’d have caught for my money back and just slept in my car, because it wasn’t worth the hassle.

It was terrible. Check in was incredibly slow. The whole hotel was under construction even the rooms we stayed in. The place smelled like mold. The breakfast wasn’t even ready in time for our departure at 6:30. Frankly, we should get a refund.

I should have known better than choosing an inexpensive place to spend the night before my flight. My experience included a run down airport shuttle that I almost missed because there was only an 8.5x11 sign taped in the side of it, walking into a lobby with a pool of water from a roof leak, waiting for 15 min to be checked in because there was only one poor man working, finally getting to my room to find a roach, which I ended up catching and bringing down to the lobby because no one came up to get it. And then it was still sitting on the lobby desk when I came down in the morning. Next time I will pay the extra $20 for basic service and cleanliness.
