Location was great! It was clean and the host who met us was friendly. We were somewhat confused when asked to pay a visitors’ tax of 50 kuna which we questioned and asked for a receipt then we were given back 25 kuna back.

Beautiful appartement close to beach and town

The appartment was in a quiet area but near to some lovely restaurants and one minute walk away from pebbly beach. The buses to get to other little towns were infrequent so we got taxis everywhere . Half way through week they provided us with 6 bottles of water which was very welcome!! Worth the price tag for location and cleanliness. We had a brilliant holiday.

A great stay on Hvar

We had a great stay in Madrugada apartments and in Stari Grad. Francesco, the manager, was really helpful and friendly as he helped us with rentals of bicycles and a car. The apartments are located on the peninsula side of town with a 800m walk to the city centre and 3-4 km from some great places to swim in the ocean on the peninsula. The only drawback was the undeveloped lot in front of the apartments. A stay in Madrugada apartments is higly recommeded today, but with a pool in between the apartments and the ocean bay it would be hard to find a better place on Hvar.

Great welcome. Fabulous Apartments!!

Magrugada apartments are superb!! Thoroughly modern, extremely clean, secure and an excellent place to stay. We were met at the bus station by the manager Francesco who gave us a lift to the apartments (and back to ferry port when we left!!) He checked us in and gave us a great introduction to Stari Grad with spot on recommendations for dinner/drinks. The apartments are very high standard and are excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely Stay at the Madrugada Apartments (Sep'17)

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Madrugada Apartments and we would highly recommend it. Located within the residential area just off the Stari Grad marina, restaurants, supermarket and bus station all within 10mins' walking distance. The apartment itself was very new and well appointed; if you get one on the higher floor, it overlooks the marina. Best of all for us, was the service provided by Francesco. Highly communicative and very prompt, and always ready to help. We would not hesitate to return with our family.

Beautiful location in ultra modern new apartment

The property was fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are really modern with everything you could want, and an amazing view down to the water! Francesco could not have been more accommodating to ensure we had a great stay - thank you so much!

excellent for families

Our hosts waited for us with a bottle of Croatian wine...Pleasant surprise! They offered valuable advice for local restaurants - difficult to choose from the multiple options if you are there for a short time. The apartment was well equipped and very clean.Our only complaint was that there was no washing machine in the apartment

Nice stay in Stari Grad

The apartment was amazing. Brand new and well equiped. It is at walking distance from the centre of Stari Grad which makes a very convenient place to explore Hvar island. Highly recommended!

Francesco was an amazing host, always available for assistance above and beyond his duty. The apartment was perfect and we fell in love with Stari Grad. If we ever return to Hvar we will be staying here again.

Bel emplacement reposant

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en mai 2017. La basse saison faisait en sorte que nous étions les seuls clients. La vue sur l'eau, quoique partiellement obstruée par des arbres était tout de même magnifique. À environ 20 minutes de marche des points d'intérêts de la ville (nous devons faire le tour de la baie pour s'y rendre). Les appartements ont été récemment rénovés et sont modernes. Cuisine fonctionnelle (avec plaque de cuisson mais pas de four). Belle petite terrasse privée (balcon) meublée pour le café matinal ou l'apéro. Appartement très propre. Je recommande cet emplacement.

Appartement en très bon état, tout est neuf Malgré une deconvenue sur la reservation (sans vue alors que nous devions avoir vue sur la mer, compensé par une remise sur le prix) nous recommandons cet appartement L accueil et la disponibilité sont exemplaires

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped with our luggage and stored it when we checked out early. They provided us with a reliable taxi to the airport that arrived early. At the end of the trip, I was provided with a bottle of Croatian wine as a gift!

Kjæresten min og meg tilbragte 10 dager her. Lå ca. 10 min unna sentrumskjernen av Stari Grad i et stille strøk. 2 lokale familiedrevne restauranter like nedenfor som anbefales. Leilighetene virket å være helt nye, alt av kjøkkenutstyr fulgte med, 2 soverom og flott balkong med sea view. Eneste minuset var at det uansett tid på døgnet aldri var fullstendig med sol på balkongen grunnet leilighetens beliggenhet men dette hadde ikke noe å si for oss ettersom både en liten steinstrand og flere platå "strender" nesten lå like ved. Husk å leie scooter og besøke Dubovica stranden, fineste stranden ever (15. min unna).

Madrugada apartments

Nice and fresh apartment with all needed kitchen appliances, location fairly close to Stari Grad city center. No traffic noise during night time. Only negative was basically that the A/C didn't cool the bedrooms sufficiently, only living room and kitchen.
