"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was ok, it’s needing a freshing up though, more two star than four. In general good but needs freshening up. The corner flag bar and restaurant was the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was in here which was ok. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities which I was hoping to. Overall too expensive for what you get. I will be trying somewhere else in January."

"Only had 2 night stay half board booked a large double room but on arrival had a quadruple room no big deal as more space. All meals and breakfast were very good, Room was clean,cleaner asked on first morning if we required any fresh towels. Entertainment at night was 3 singing acts 2 were very good 1 not so good.only down side was thought bar prices were a bit high when paying at bar, think they have an alinclusive opinion but not sure on prices "

"We were welcomed wonderfully by the night manager who was very friendly. The room was smart and clean though a tad cold though the heating kicked in a bit later. They very kindly put a cot in our room however the mattress was very thin and no sheet. It was ok our little one cuddled up with me and we had a good sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was standard and a good selection. All in all very good value"

"I liked the friendliness of the host: the location (opposite south pier) & the room(sea view). The hotelier was very kind & on seeing how lame I am, gave ma a room on a lower floor. I would happily stay there again. There was confusion reaching the hotel because a rival, calling itself the Sands Venue, is under construction & the name is so close to the Sands that I can imagine other future guests getting confused. The upstart venue should be made to change its name "

"The manager, night manager and gentleman working the bar could simply not do enough, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make us and our three year old boy feel welcome and made our stay the fab experience that it was! We will be back! "
