Lovely pub with 3 rooms. Amy is a great hostess and takes care of her guests needs with a smile. Good parking Nd pleasant outside seating. Good food too
Location, service, cleanliness perfect.
Staff extremely friendly and welcoming.
Food amazing and very reasonably priced definitely recommend eating in restaurant.
Breakfast cooked to perfection too
Pub was nice and food was ok. Breakfast very good. However the room was not up to standard. The door key was ridiculous and they need to replace the lock as it took forever to open. The toilet flush didn’t work and we used the public toilets downstairs. The shower took ages to work out with no instructions, and I stumbled eventually on how to use it. The room was shabby chic but in places more shabby. Whilst it’s an old building and you expect some imperfections, staff should check the basics to see if it’s fit for purpose. I would say it’s a nice pub but not 4 star accommodation, more like 2 star.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Half good half bad
We arrived a little early. When I say early check in was 5pm we thought if our room wasn't ready we would have a drink but know the pub didn't open until bang on 5pm then the computer wouldn't log on so they couldn't find our booking we sat on the car park for over half an hour. The room light switch had a tape over it saying do not remove. Food however was fabulous and the staff lovely. Check out time was 10am so we couldn't get in till 5pm and had to check out 10am therefore we paid for 2 nights but only receive 1 and a half.
Comfortable room. noisy as it was open mic night.. good breakfast
kindly staff

A little difficult to access
Our lovely waitress, Karen could not have been more helpful, our food was excellent BUT why were we not given the code for the Residents' entrance? It was not on the information sheet despite Karen been certain that it was.
