"The place is newly renovated and clean. It is inside the walled Old Town and walkable to most tourist spots, shops, and eating spots. The location is close to the main street and does not involve a lot of steps going to the hotel (Dubrovnik is a city of steps/stairs, just FYi) but has some stairs inside going to the room. Just ask to be dropped off by the Ploce gate. The service is great, they respond to my inquiries promptly. Excellent stay overall."

"Wonderful large and clean apartment. Really comfortable bed and very powerful shower. Really friendly staff with great communication via email and in person. Lovely welcome drink of homemade liquor in our apartment which was delicious. Great to have a parking space, found the apartment easy to locate. It's in a good location near the cable car and approximately 350 easy enough steps to the Old Town. Didn't use the pool but looked inviting and very clean. I would 100% recommend this hotel. "

"Pro: Perfect location❤️ Communication with the property was great! The Scalini Palace is quaint and beautiful. Small kitchenette was well stocked. Cons: I thought I reserved a room with a balcony and it was only a Juliet balcony, maybe my mistake and I thought breakfast was included, didn’t realize that I had to make it myself 😂All in all I would stay there again when we come back❤️"

"This apartment is lovely and in a dandy, central location. It’s a little challenging to find initially, but easy enough once you do find it. Very attractive and fresh and comfortable. There are quite a few stairs to climb which could be a deterrant for some. There are also stairs in the apartment. "Lovely room and staff. Inviting tub in room however there isn’t enough hot water available to fill the tub. So, if you are looking for a relaxing bath you won’t get it. I recommend saving the money and renting one of the rooms without the tub. Stairs are steep at the top and could be an issue for large luggage or people with mobility limitations. "

"Apartment was lovely and clean, Ana the host was welcoming and gave us lots of information, she was around most of the time if we had any questions. There are lots of steps to get around Dubrovnik, but this would be a similar story wherever you stayed. We had a great time."

"Everything was excellent, the apartment is large and very comfortable, the most important the bed and the pillows are very comfortable. The only problem we only got 1 towel each for 3 nights stayed. Lots of stairs getting to apartment and inside apartment. but got a different route a bit longer but less stairs going to apartment. Very close to pile gate. Highly recommended "

"Allways like coming to Rixos Dubrovnik (usually once a year for last 5-6 years). Like Turkish hospitability as further you go East more hospitable cultures... While subjectively I love the place and it is still my favorite Spa in Dalmacia, objectively there are some things that bit degraded with time. Food, I guess the global situation with the cost of food reflects on current offer, the variability of current offer is much less compared with previous years. "Location was extremely strategic and walking distance to all attractions, groceries stores, restaurants and all. We stayed here for 9 days and warned about the steep staircases through the many reviews. Backpack! no big luggages. However, that is not a big issue for us at all.
