Location is great but as others said the rest is to be desired. The clientele especially on weekends is pretty loud and level of intoxication is high. The property itself has a feel of a motel. I did like their model of a basket replacing towels and other toiletries every morning. Being on the beach is super super convenient and the beach is great. Lots of dining options within walking distance. The hotel did charge us full price for the stay after we prepaid through Expedia in full and it took some time to get the money back. Watch out for that as they charged me on the first day of my credit card cycle with my luck and I haven’t noticed for several weeks and took another couple weeks to get a refund.

We had a great stay at Barefoot Beach. It was very convenient to Johns Pass and other things in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Clean pool, nice beach area. But air conditioning sucked, no daily cleaning and property is a walk or drive to anything to do with food or drinks. Not a family friendly area. Everything is 1/2 mile away.

Too many restrictions at the resort. They expect you to wear a wristband while on property so they can track your activities. Won’t be back. The front staff was extremely rude. Won’t be back not worth the money.

The studio building it’s very oldie and need a lot of work. The bathroom of the studio are old and the tiles have some mold in the trim. The location it’s amazing , the pool area and beach access are in a great location. Now the room of the main building are stunning 😍 I would go back and definitely rent the rooms but In the main building

Ideal accommodations for a family
Quick, long weekend getaway with family before school started. Property was perfect for what we wanted, spacious rooms, full kitchen, gorgeous view of the ocean, immaculately kept property, private beach, and walking distance (both north and south) of several little shops, restaurants, and bars. Would stay again.

We had an oceanfront room, the views were absolutely beautiful. You can watch the sunset either from your balcony, or right from the beach which is only steps away. Definitely will be coming back to this hotel!!
