"We had a wonderful stay at The New Inn, very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous listed building, we stayed in the Lady Jane Grey suite with a massive 4 poster bed and a few quirky charms that you hope to find in a building as old as this. We highly recommend this hotel"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Blaisdon House. Our room with the four poster bed was beautiful and charming, we felt truly relaxed. Breakfast was set in a stunning dining room, the attention to detail of the table setting was wonderful and very much enjoyed. Choice of breakfast was also great, with classics and modern dishes to choose from. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We know we will be back when we visit the area again. Thank you for a special stay."

"We walked from the train station to the hotel and it was too far , very hilly. However, when we reach the hotel it was nice, an older building but clean and well kept up. Up. The food was great in the restaurant. Including one just up the hill from the hotel that was particularly interesting very often"

"Absolutely loved staying here. A great welcome from the owner and a tour of the room and house. Great dinner option provided via a local takeaway and was given a plate and cutlery on arrival to use. Guest lounge is lovely and comfortable. My room was cozy, lovely tea and coffee making facilities. It is an old place so you will squeak on the floorboards now and again. "This property is outstanding in its location, in its cleanliness and comfortable room. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had. We are looking forward to returning whenever we get the chance as it's so good. "

"We were pleasantly surprised as wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Everything was as promised, room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Little extras such as magnifying mirror, room spray and to go breakfast. Really would recommend and we would certainly stay again but for longer. Really lovely little gem! "

"An excellent old inn in a beautiful old town. The food was very good but the offering of English wine wasn't up to the same standard. In keeping with the style of the building there are no lifts, be prepared to carry your luggage to the third floor however, the staff did offer to help."
