"Outstanding service and attention to detail. The staff were very accommodating and easy to talk to. The only black mark was a washroom that was cooler than the rest of the room. It made the first few minutes out of the shower uncomfortable. As a sort of consolation, the bathroom featured a heated towel rack. "Really happy! My fiance and I just needed a 1 night stay to see Cologne while we are travelling Europe. Checking in was super quick and easy with the code to enter the hotel and the self check in on iPads to organise our room key. Can tell that a lot of thought has been put into digital self check in. The hotel and its operations have been really well designed. Did not use served brekky in the lobby in the morning (from 8am - 10am) however a vending machine is available at night for drinks...

"Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Average room, but clean. 1 lift for all; stairs area tends to smell of cigarette smoke since downstairs door to rear garden is open most of the time. I had a standard room which means it was to the front where the train tracks are. I didn't actually find the occasional train passing by to be as noisy as people had warned me about. Plus, the hotel provides one with ear plugs should one have a light sleep. I do have a light sleep and I had the window open all night but really, it was not that noisy. It is conveniently situated, about 15 minutes walk to Solingen main station and downtown Ohligs."
