"Great location in centre of Kells with convenient secure parking to the rear of the hotel. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable in the newer rear block of the hotel. Our only small gripe was that the hallways and the rooms were far too hot for our liking! "The breakfast was always wonderful. Everything was very clean. My biggest problem was the location. It was farther away from Cavan than I expected. In addition, I was unable to connect to cellular phone service from my room. Lastly, the owner advised me that she could not accept my credit card even though my credit card is from a European bank, only cash. Overall, I would not choose this property again regardless of the price. "

"We had booked two nights at Trim Castle Hotel. There was an incident on the first evening which was very upsetting. We met with the manager Lucas the following morning who was extremely concerned and apologetic. In a matter of minutes he made us feel comfortable and handled the situation well. Andrew, Heather and Eve took care of us wonderfully in the restaurant. The staff serving in the breakfast room were also great. The view of the castle from the hotel in the evening with the lights is spectacular. Thank you Lucas! "
