I have stayed at a few hotels of this Brand and found this property to be pretty good overall. The hotel rooms were clean and fresh. The employees were nice and offered assistance. My only complaint is the internet is on the slower end when needing it for work.

First off, this was a nice surprise, and certainly a good value. The staff is excellent and friendly. Very clean property and maintained well for a property this historic. I recommend it highly, but, we had two issues that were recognized and ultimatley accomodated nicely. We had no hot water in our shower for both days, and yes, we stayed an extra day due to the first days experience, and though the folks said our room would be cleaned, it wasn't. HOWEVER, the staff did recognize the situation and HANDLED IT WELL. If we go back to KC, we will stay here again. By the way, the breakfast is good too, and the pool is expansive and looks like a great place for kids (indoor and outdoor swimming, so in the winter, it would be fun.) Give Stoney Creek a shot. Pleasant surprise!

Property has a cool thing with the lodge log thing going on however, the wallpaper in the rooms and the plaster in the bathroom. We’re both in very sad condition. Also took a very long time to get hot water in the shower but after about five minutes, it was good and hot.

I loved the more rustic approach to the hotel. More character than most. The pool and hot tub was unlike any I've ever experienced. The staff aaa also very helpful and friendly.
