Quaint and perfect for my date night. It's like a South Beach Miami hotel on the Island. Food and drink all around it. We stayed in the smaller room and chose the larger one. Easy parking, bikes to use... fresh ground expresso, cappuccino , coffee machine in lobby. Fresh tacos across the road. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Super cute place that was clean and safe. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was how thin the walls are & beds are a little too firm. Whoever was above us woke us up at 3:30am one night and 5am the next and you could hear the shower running next door clear as day but it was VERY clean and in a good location.

Worst customer service in our whole travels across the Country. The app to get into your room never works and no one answers the phone when you call for help. The rooms are small. AC doesn’t work. We got locked out of our room several times and had to wait for over an hour to get in. We were in St Aug for business and we were unable to change for meetings as a result of the poor service here. They are way too focused on their flamingo wallpaper and should focus way more on the quality of stay.

This is a very nice hotel, with a retro vibe. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is good, close to the historic downtown area as well as close to beaches. Only issues were with the app not loading and not able to use the keycard on my phone, but housekeeping gave me a physical keycare. Also, not much hot water except for maybe one day. Rest was lukewarm.

Honest review: Pros: Safe location, great coffee, no bugs Cons: black mold in the room, HEAVY mold scent (I know it’s humid) contactless check-in which could lead to problems and have to download and use an app, dirty walls- if the areas easy to see are dirty, what does that say about the hard to see areas? Overall- decent, love supporting local however this isn’t really local if there are no staff on the property. Wouldn’t stay again.
