"When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. "Overall good stay Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future. The front rooms are within hearing of the village clock but didn’t give much issue. Rooms were good, plently if hot water and nice cooked breakfast from the friendly host Tim. "

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there.
