The room was large and the washroom was modern and very clean. The fridge was dirty and the shelves inside were broken. The blinds were broken so we couldn’t darken the room for sleeping. There was no way to contact the front desk, nor the manager by phone in the room- nor was the phone number on the website correct so you physically had to go to the front desk. There were new staff members on the front desk every day- we only saw one person more than once (we stayed 4 nights). There were no facecloths for the first two days- the third day we got some, the fourth nothing. We had lots of towels. The location is fabulous, we felt quite safe. Loads of good food quite close, grand central station only 2 blocks away.
Overall the experience was super inconsistent but not the worst place we’ve stayed.

You get what you can for the price. The place needs minor adjustments. But it is close to the World Trade Center and trains.
