Excellent hotel on a leafy avenue

"We loved this hotel on a quiet leafy street, easy walking distance from the busy old town. Our junior suite was magnificent. Breakfast buffet was great. Best of all, every member of staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere in this well run hotel. "

A great base for visiting Genova.

"We stayed 5 nights whilst visiting Genova and the surrounding area. We made use of the secure car parking offered. The reception staff were all wonderful, very polite and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the bus stop into town and also the sea front. We were able to cook dinner and heat water for hot drinks. You do need to provide your own washing up liquid and sponge. We can recommend a visit to Camogli as a fantastic fishing village about 30 minutes drive away. You can get the train to La Spezia from Genova Sturla station, about 20 minutes walk. It wasn't brilliant weather but we did enjoy sitting on the roof terrace a bit, too."

"Having paid for a room with the 3 twin bed option, we had to pay €35 upgrade to get the 3 beds! Then, as we were given our room key cards, they mentioned that they were having some plumbing problems… didn’t specify. I asked if this would be sorted out today… “yes, we expect so”. The next morning, the water was freezing… we had to shower in that! It’s a 4* hotel… surely, there should be some sort of refund? Otherwise, the room was great!"
