Spiveys Corner Holiday Rentals

"The hotel was great. The surroundings were not. So much road work and closed roads in the immediate surroundings. Had to find my own way in and out of the parking lot. A little heads up would have been nice. I figured out my last day i had to take the third road before the right that the online directions said, go to the end of that road turn left then take second left to be able to turn into the parking lot. All roads really rough. Not going back there until the road situation is fixed. Not their fault but on my first day after 3 hours or driving then working a full day then heading to the hotel i had to find my way in and out again in the morning. Pretty sure the construction crew hit a water main on Wednesday because when i got close to the hotel that evening all the bumpy cracked roads were floaded. Going to take my car to to the shop tomorrow because on my 2.5 hour ride home it kept pulling to the left....The complementary breakfast was easly a $15 breakfast. Delicious food. Comfy chairs. News on. Very chill. "

"The young man who checked us in was exceptional. Friendly and polite. The lamps in our room could use some help. The harp on one was loose as was the main stem of the lamp. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. The surrounding roads very in bad condition due to construction, not the fault of the facility."

"Very impressed with this property! We travel very often for work and this property is perfect. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The property was super clean, and the shower was wonderful. Special kudos to the breakfast attendant on her treatment of the guests and her colleagues. "

"I want to precursor the rest of this review by saying that I hardly ever leave reviews. So take this SERIOUS!!! As a single momma to two little ones, along with a pup, I was extremely EXHAUSTED arriving at the hotel after driving from NY in a torrential rain storm for 8 hours straight. However, from the minute I entered the hotel, I couldn’t have been more relaxed, comfortable and happy. Ms. Stephanie at the front desk is by far the most amazing human being I have ever met!!! My son was extremely rambunctious after being cooped up in a car for 8 hours and she went ABOVE and BEYOND what any person needs to do. Not only did she show warmth, kindness and patience, but she treated him like he was one of her own grandchildren. I can’t wait to drive back from Florida and see her again in 5 days!!!! She deserves ALL the promotions in the world and should be considered for a position as a TRAINER for the Hilton brand so that every customer service representative could be as AMAZING at their job as she is!!!! She is an INVALUABLE asset to the brand and company which she represents!!! "
