"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"

"The Room itself was very nice and spacious. However, we had to park the car on the road which we dare not move incase there was no space when we return. We also expected a small outside area which the photos suggest came with the room.
Tropea itself was hugely disappointing. "

"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "Amazing place , the garden area is beautiful. Is peaceful and quite. Beautiful SPA recently open , is like paradise ! The pool area is great with beautiful view and amazing sunset 🌅. Personnel very kind and helpful , they even allowed me to do a late checkout at no cost . Breakfast , lunch and dinner are top !! Delicious local food and some international food also . The only negative for me was the bed 🛌, too hard and difficult to sleep.

The gardens are spectacular and the views are incomparable.

"We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival. She was so welcoming and helpful! The vibe of the property is chill and relaxing 😌 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool (they grow their own vegetables!) and a great dinner at the restaurant on site. My only regret was not staying longer! I 100% recommend!"

"Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!"
