"Very clean and modern hotel with beautiful indoor pool and gym. Wish we could stay longer than a day.
But staffs especially restaurant staffs need a bit of training. Went in to have dinner and the restaurant was totally empty and two waiters were looking at their phones and didn’t pay any attention to customers. I had to go out and ask where to sit etc.
They kept talking to each other and didn’t take orders"

"The rooms are all basically in the garden of a restaurant with loud music until 12-1 am in the middle of the week. Furthermore, the rooms are placed in front of the trash cans where at the end of the night the waiters go to throw away empty bottles, not caring at all about the noise they might make.
The room was dirty, especially the bathroom, lots of loose cables and mold all over the shower.
I tried to let the hotel know, but no one spoke English."

"Wife and i had an absolutely perfect experience here. VERY clean, staff is happy and eager to help you, very classy and comfortable place. Great breakfast buffet with both indoor and outdoor seating, phenomenal italian restaurant on the roof with an amazing view of Izmir, and an awesome pool area. Pool is big, clean, and the staff was on point with their service. This is my new favorite place to vacation and we will be back next year! Thank you all at the Swissotel izmir!"

There was noisy live music at the surrounding bars on Wednesday, the 2nd, which went on until 5 am, but obviously that wasn't the hotel's fault. "
