"The hotel is very well located for a few days in Basel. We took a day trip by rail to Lucerne and the hotel location was perfect for this reason. Also, the Old Town of Basel is a short walk. The close proximity to the train station was a bonus, but you must expect a little low level noise from the train and buses nearby. This didn't bother us. The breakfast was really good and the wait staff serving were excellent."

The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, the location is close to both the station and the old city, the courtyard garden is a delightful oasis, our room was large, modern, clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was delicious and abundant. "The hotel is located in the conference center / area area. It’s a 35 minute walk from the main train station. However, there are trams and bus routes outside which can take you there also. My room was available early and it was great to be able to check-in when I arrived. The room was lovely and extremely comfortable. I appreciated having coffee and tea making facilities as I stayed for two nights. There was also a few complementary items in the mini-bar (water, beer, juice, pepsi and peanuts). Breakfast was included in my rate and they had a great selection of items. It is served in a bright airy room on the 3rd floor. I appreciated being able to take some items with me on my last day as I left at 7.15am. I had my own reusable coffee container but a staff member gave me a small cardboard container to use. I also had a drink one evening at the bar and the lady serving (I don’t remember her name) was extremely welcoming. As I was alone I appreciated her friendliness. The location of this hotel would be ideal if you were attending a concert or event at the arena. It’s also a good location, if you like to walk as I do or of you want to avail of the public transport. "
