Very clean room and comfortable beds. You can tell they try really hard to please all of their guests. This hotel is within walking distance to the river, restaurants and downtown shops. Highly recommend!

My husband stayed here during the weekend of the Wooden Boat Show! It is a small hotel but Rebecca, the owner and Victoria, the assistant manager were great! They really care about their guest! Sending a text about check in to a hand written note to my husband about the Inn at Southport! The room was small but was very clean. The bed was very comfortable! Very convenient to several restaurants and stores! The outside had a porch swing, corn hole game and was a beautiful area! We would definitely stay here again because of the hospitality of the owner and assistant manager!

The room was comfortable and clean. The motel is classic 60/70's- drive up to the room . The owners have maintained the premises and tried to keep the nostalgia from the era.

My son and I stayed overnight on our way to the Outer Banks. Room is clean and bed is comfortable- room has a mini fridge and coffeemaker. Our room was #1 and closest to the street so there was some traffic noise but it didn't keep us awake. Property manager/owners were excellent with communication which is a plus since there wasn't anyone on site. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff here was extremely organized and friendly. I had an issue with the toilet in my room and at 3:00 am helped me with this. They also assisted me in getting a unit with more room for us. Love this place.

Great spot, walkable to everything. Will be back.

Really friendly staff with clear and useful communication. They had good recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Super convenient location and a great price for a last minute, holiday weekend trip. They had bikes to borrow and water for us in the fridge after a hot hot day. This was a pretty no-frills room but had everything we needed and the staff is definitely going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy.

This is a very comfortable property in the main part of this small town. It seems that the owner made a recent and very considerable investment to update the rooms and the results are outstanding. The room was spotless and very comfortable. They have a contactless check in procedure and it worked flawlessly. Would recommend.

Well situated location w/responsive staff. However, it is an older property which needs extra care, reeks of weed, has zero amenities & frankly I suspect the owner is allowing it to go to seed. It could be a great property w/some TLC & added staff, likewise the check in @ 4 & checkout @ 10 are the worst I’ve seen

Absolutely loved my stay at the Inn and visiting the surrounding area/ beaches. Exactly what I needed. Very cute, safe, clean, and convenient. True to pictures. Owner super helpful, polite and responsive. Southport is a cozy, inviting and relaxing little waterfront town. Looking forward to staying here again. My only issue, the shower (and bathroom) is very small, hard to wash my hair, couldn't really shave my legs. But still got the job done.
