"Lilly was great at checking, the rooms were nice and clean, and Counteroffer was open 24/7, which was great. Disappointments: texting valet for car didn’t work (I guess they weren’t watching for the text…valet is overpriced here anyway), and the indoor hottub wasn’t hot."

"The property is wonderful. Very old world traditional. I had stayed there many times about 5 years ago. What’s different now is the parking. Between the $50 a night valet… and I had two cars and the tips.. it was just annoying… and expensive. The library… or hotel bar casually sophisticated and we had tons of fun there… but definitely look at the hidden fees incurred with your booking… I just find it irritating to not be up front about the pricing structure and annoying to incur hidden fees."
