"We enjoyed our stay at Shilo Inn in Idaho Falls. It’s clean and quiet and much more homey than some of the ultra modern ones. The only thing I noticed is that the exterior and the parking lot have a lot of wear and tear, most likely due to the extreme weather in the area, but it detracts from the classic interior. Aside from that, it was comfortable, clean, and safe. Outstanding price also! "

"I’ve stayed here many times over the years It’s not fancy or expensive (actually the cheapest place in town, I believe) but I’ve never had a complaint and it’s very convenient. Some of the other guests can be a bit loud at times (that’ll happen at budget lodgings) but this is a terrific value, right off the interstate. The walls are pretty thick, so the noise usually comes from nearby guests smoking in front of their rooms. Ear plugs recommended (as always), just in case. Always plenty of parking as well. The indoor heated pool and hot tub was always nice in years past when I used it, and it appears they’ve done some upgrades there. I’ve always been grateful to know where I can get clean, comfortable lodgings in idaho falls at a reasonable rate. "
