"The hotel pool area is large and has plenty of lounge chairs. The staff is lively and professional. The restaurants are very good. We especially loved the breakfast buffet."

"Lovely the staff, the breakfast is incredible, great view from the roof terrace. Location is exceptional too. The window (city side) was not very sound proof, the room was quite small and they could do with some showers or an area to wash off the sand from the beach before going into the hotel. Also a drinking water fountain - the jugs at reception were always empty. "

"The view of Copacabana Beach was spectacular! The view of the city and even Sugar Loaf in the distance. Roof top bar/restaurant very nice too, right next to the infinity pool. We had room 2007 on the 20th floor. Breakfast buffet excellent too! Lots of items."

"Being a fourth-time returning guest usually earns you a bit of "VIP" treatment, or at the very least, some basic recognition. To be met with a wall of "no" regarding timing and a management team that seems to be playing hide-and-seek is a major service failure. They have zero flexibility with early check in and late check out."

"I was Cheated .. i paid for the Ocean view room , but was denied and made excuses .. and was asked to cancel my booking when I objected , the reception manager threatened me to call police if I objected more This is the Wost experience of my 20 years of travelling I need my money back or a compensation.. it’s very rude and disrespectful "

"I booked to stay at this hotel during the flight cancellations that occurred because of the issues between America & Iran. We were advised to quickly book a hotel close to the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, it was before our check-in time, so we were asked to wait until 2pm. About 30 minutes later I got a call and was told to head back to the airport immediately as British Airways was now able to take passengers on the plane. I approached reception staff and explained the situation and told them that I would no longer need the room as I had to return to the airport straight away. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to accept my cancellation and still charged me for the room, even though we never checked in or used it. I understand that hotels have policies, but given the circumstances and a sudden change due to airline disruptions. I was disappointed that there was no flexibility or understanding shown. A little consideration in situations like this would go a long way, especially when travellers are already dealing with the stress of cancelled flights and last-minute changes. Overall, this experience left a negative impression. I hope the hotel reviews how situations like this are handled in the future and shows more understanding toward travellers facing unexpected travel disruptions. I paid £77 for a hotel that i wasn't able to stay in. "
