"We arrived at the hotel around 11 am and requested an early check-in. To our surprise, we were charged GBP 40, despite clean rooms being readily available. This felt like a blatant cash grab. We asked for a receipt for the GBP 40, and were told it would be sent via email, yet it never arrived. We are extremely dissatisfied with this experience. "Loved the room with the mezzanine - really spacious for the three of us. Staff were super friendly. Only negatives were expensive (and very cramped) parking and could have done with a thorough clean and linen change half way through. "The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...
