"It was easy to do self check-in and clean with great view. It was the best chimoice. However there was no one for reception so we cannot ask simple cattle and hot water. Also there was parking fee which seems like normal for this area. "

"We happened to be at the Mondi during the storm Boris. We were very comfortable and warm, and enjoyed the bar and restaurant. We especially enjoyed the view of Lake Grundlsee and the mountains with snow."

"The Chalet is a13 minute walk from the Obertraun train station. It is an 8 minute walk to the bus to Hallstatt. Obertraun is a picturesque, peaceful village away from the crowds of Hallstatt. It has some 700 residents. There is a supermarket but restaurants are limited. The property is beautiful ... surrounded by mountains. It is impeccably maintained. "We really loved this hotel. They have all kinds of amenities, including a spectacular spa, several saunas, bowling alley, electric bikes, and an expensive fitness room. The staff was very kind and helpful. I have food, allergies, and they created a whole three course meal special for me each night."

"The hotel is very close to the Pilani gondola. An easy walk even in all your ski gear and carrying your equipment. It is also very near to other restaurants and bars and only a few minutes walk to shopping. We found it very easy to get around the town without transportation and had a fantastic stay. The room was exactly what we needed and had even more space than we anticipated from the pictures. Additionally, the staff was fantastic. Very willing to recommend train options for our return to Salzburg and called a taxi to get us to the train station at no additional cost! As for the cleaning staff, they were very good and thoughtful. Our daughter had brought with her some very special stuffed comfort toys and they took special care of them during cleaning. It made her SO happy."
