"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"We loved the modern aesthetic of the property and location! No complaints really, but was disappointed with check in representative: we asked for a space available upgrade knowing there were plenty of rooms available online, we were told fully booked; then asked for 1h late checkout on Sunday, again same answer fully booked, meanwhile EIGHT grades of rooms still available tomorrow on website! Doesn’t encourage me to ever return, despite how beautiful. Customer service is everything."
