"It really felt like more of a homey feeling than a hotel. You could see joggers right outside, right by the water, everything was walking distance. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. "The reason we stayed here was because it was close to the airport. It's less than 10 minutes by taxi, but it was about a 20 USD taxi fare. Still, the price of the room was reasonable. Rooms are not overly spacious, but clean and comfortable. It had all necessary amenities. We went downtown via train very easily. The station is a two-minute walk from the hotel to get downtown. "Great hotel, at the beautiful city center near Metro. Staff did a superb job at directing me to the nearby 1733 Danish food restaurant, a delicious eatery, and made a reservation for me, which was fantastic as it was my first time in Copenhagen. Next morning the day shift staff explained how to catch the Metro to the airport, which proved faster than the taxi I took the day before from the airport to the hotel at a fraction of the cost. Bravo! I highly recommend the Strand Hotel!"

"Amazing hotel, right opposite the train and metro stations. Excellent location for getting around. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our side of the hotel looked directly onto the train platform, the noise of the trains was manageable and didnt bother us at all. Lots of train references throughout the hotel which was a quirky touch. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely consuder staying here again Thank you so much ❤️ "
