"My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Gagliardi for two nights and were upgraded upon arrival which was a fun surprise! One of the perks of traveling in December! Hotel is older but very clean and charming, with multiple places to hang out (patio, sun room, roof top). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "The rooms were large and comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Parking will be an issue during peak holiday season. And, accessing the property in a large vehicle will be impossible since the road is SO NARROW. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and we were able to walk everywhere within Avola. Most restaurants were already closed for the season when we visited in early Nov so bear that in mind if you plan to visit during the off season."
