"Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything. Quick 15-20 minute taxi ride $12 to Seoraksan $4 ride to Sokcho express bus terminal. Seafood restaurants right outside the hotel at a reasonable price; $150 for an amazing meal for 4 people."

"It was my 2nd stay in this hotel, the 1st stay, one of the staff said, will give me an upgrade, but gave me a so lousy view which only can see a small port and road. Importantly the main view was Lotte resort. I was wondering a lot of rooms are available, however why he has to put me in such room which doesn’t even have a bathtub in the line room. This 2nd stay, I booked a King bed room, the bathtub is in the living room with ocean view. However the other tower rooms are so close, when I get into bathtub I have to close curtains, ocean view is useless. It was so very uncomfortable. In the bathroom, water isn’t going down when I showered… On the floor, on the table, on the chairs and wherever have painting drops. The smalls of new renovation works were so bad.. had to open the balcony door all along. I had high expectations of the hotel as it was developed from banyan tree, maybe I should not.."
