"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place is running a SCAM!!!! I stayed here 2 nights with my family and it has been an absolute nightmare! First of all, upon “check in” we realized that there is no reception. We met the property managers in the parking lot and they brought us to our apartment. "This is a beautiful place, but no where on Expedia's website or Relais' website did it say that you couldn't check in past midnight. We got lost driving up from southern Italy, and the place was locked up when we arrived. "Marta and her family were truly amazing - went above and beyond to look after us! Such a lovely welcome to have not one but two bottles of their very own (tasty!) wine plus a vase of wild flowers from the extensive grounds. Marta has enormous local history knowledge which she willingly shared with us. Thoroughly recommend the wine tasting experience - very informative as well as delicious. So hope to return."
