"Very nice historic home. Owner was very kind and personable - called us to welcome us and checked on our arrival and departure times. We arrived late and left early and she kindly left a nice breakfast for us."
"I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past years I come home once or twice a year. However the service at this hotel has gone downhill and it is continuing to go downhill. Our toilet did not want to flush when I called the front desk I was informed by the man that runs the place that they had a plunge or down there in the office and I said well can someone come up and plunge the toilet and he informed me that they do not plunge toilets. No soda in the soda machine no snacks in the snack machineNo continental breakfast so no food of no kind anywhere on the premises. The lighting is horrible throughout the entire room except right by the bed the lighting around the sink area makes no sense at all you cannot even use that area to put your makeup or anything on because the lights are like reflecting off of the orange wal The beds move all over the floor every time someone turns over no matter what size they are they're not fastened down at all. I spend a lot of money in your hotel as well as a lot of other people and it's not worth listen all. I specifically called the hotel after I made my reservations and asked them to make sure that I got a downstairs room the gentleman running the place again told me yes we will have you one when you get here and I said what do you need my name or anything and he goes now we will have your room when you get here doupstairs well when I get there there's no room downstairs the next day I go down and ask there's still no rooms downs"
"The parking lot is very narrow-our truck barely fit in the slot.
Also only one car at a time can move around the building-too narrow. We had trouble with our toilet, our coffee maker worked but the coffee pot obviously was not the original because it did not fit properly...we had to hold it up to release the coffee. We made 4 cups- took several minutes to hold the coffee pot while it brewed. There were 2 of us and we received 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. We had a spill and used the hand towel, i washed my face with the was cloth so we had to use our bath towels to dry off the sink splash, wipe our mouths from brushing our teeth, etc. We requested extra towels the next morning. The description online says there is a free breakfast but there is NO breakfast, free or otherwise. You cannot enter the lobby at all until after 8:30am - that is when we left to go find breakfast and head to the game on Saturday morning. I had to speak to the owner lady through a night window. On a positive note- the heat/air worked well. I would not stay there again

"budget friendly hotel with basic amenities, clean , friendly staff, close to dollar general and gas statio . Easily the best value in Holly Springs. The hotel seems to be in the process of remodeling so I suspect the value and quality will only get better in time."
