Our stay was very enjoyable considering our reason, we were there with family for a Celebration of Life for my brother. The staff were most accommodating. One thing I was nervous, I am a senior, the tub caused me some concern. The only grip bar was at the tap end, so getting in, not knowing the temperature was a shock. Would it be possible to put grip bars at either end & rubber mats for we seniors, please. Other than that we will stay at Holiday Inn on our next visit. Thank you.

I booked on Expedia, and they called me to tell me they over booked so I had to move from a suite to a regular room for the same price and couldn’t do anything because I booked through a 3rd party app. I was offered a king room in exchange for my king suite and was given a double queen room upon arrival. The room was very outdated and dirty. Staff was nice but not accommodating. For a holiday inn property it was pretty unacceptable, not to mention being penalized for booking through Expedia, which is normally my favorite app on the planet. All in all they really need to step there game up.

Hotel was standard. My room was pretty good, except for the fact that the toilet paper roll was broken, which injured my finger as I attempted to catch the toilet paper roll as it fell from the holder. To make matters worse, after checking out and after I left the hotel, I was asked to come back since they said they couldn't process my credit card to check me out. I had to drive all the way back from my client's office to the hotel to pay for my check out using my debit card, regardless of me stating that there's an active charge on my credit card. Holiday Inn assured me that the charge would be refunded and that if there's any issues they will resolve it. 19 days after I checked out (Oct 29), I am now double charged as Holiday Inn never refunded the charge on my credit card. After calling Holiday Inn twice, the call finally ended with them saying that they confirmed with their technical team that the refund was submitted successfully and I have to talk to my bank to resolve. Will not be going back to this hotel.

Great staff, & while some items on the property looked their age, from the Posted Building Permit & chatting with staff they are being addressed in a major renovation. Breakfast was very good (with the exception of the very weak coffee) and the kitchen staff were outstanding. One issue regarding the location; if you have issues with traffic noise, (I don't) you may want to request a room on the North side not facing the 401. We'd stay here again.

It is very conveniently located, has great staff, and great breakfast. The breakfast attendant was amazingly friendly. She visited tables and checked whether customers were happy with the breakfast and whether we needed anything. We even got "gelatin" free yogurt from the lady. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brockville and nearby places such as Kingstone.

Hello, when we were put in a room next to the hwy noise, I called to ask for a change however, due to no cleaning staff on the holiday there was no other king size rooms available. We were offered a change of room the next day however, I was in training and did not have time to change my rooms. Noise was all night due to hwy traffic.

I had much higher expectations for our stay here. The issues were mostly minor; but with so many, it cumulated to a very negative hotel experience, especially when paying over $450 for two nights. Some of the issues we encountered included: -bugs in the washroom (both in the sink and toilet) -room was not ready at check in, so we were moved to a new room -room was along the 401, so it was very noisey to sleep. -filthy room (stains on carpeting, walls and furniture) -ice machine out of service -no wifi our first night -one elevator out of service and the one that was in service made some alarming noises -our keys were de-programmed after our first night, so we were unable to re-enter our room. When we went to the front desk, no questions were asked, which brings up some questions of hotel security if they just openly hand out keys to rooms -no towels at the hotel pool -hotel gym out of service -room was advertised and charged as a "suite" when amenities included a microwave and a mini fridge. Overall, we had a nice family trip, so we didn't let these things ruin our stay; but I will not be returning to holiday inn express hotels.

Very nice and fairly updated. USB ports would be handy in the rooms as most hotels have them and we didn’t bring blocks for our phone chargers for that reason.
