"This was a cute, modern hotel. Our family room had large windows to enjoy the view. Although we couldn't see Northern lights due to clouds, we appreciated that the hotel offers to call rooms at night when they do see Northern lights. There were many great sights to see in and around Myvatn."

"Aged rooms but very clean. Restaurant was excellent! Lobby is comfortable and we got very lucky to experience an incredible Northern Lights show! All staff was friendly and helpful! "Nice little place. The shared bathroom was musty in the showers. Lake front is across lava field and highway. Really cute huts, clean linens, kettle in room and heat. It was convenient location for our ring road trip!"

"We rented the cottage for one night. It was a short stay. It really is a cottage out in the middle of nowhere. But the cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, and we were able to see some northern lights. Enjoyed the stay."
