"This property is in good location. The room is clean. Breakfast is good.
Limited free parking space available on site. But you can park in the garage in the opposite of the street that cost you around $18 USD a night."

"Perfect location and easy to access by public transportation from Bus Stop #9 which is less than a 5 minute walk. The Starbucks next door and the restaurant in the hotel are also extremely convenient. Plenty of nice restaurants and shopping close to the hotel. "

"Great little hotel, overlooking the ocean/ocean walk; 10 minute walk to 'downtown' Reykjavik. Staff friendly & helpful. Carpet in room needs cleaning/replacement, and hairdryer overheats & shuts off quickly, but these are minor issues.
Would recommend. "

"Awesome breakfast spread, tidy & quiet rooms, and very good blackout curtains for 23-hour sunlight in summer. It's a good spot for tour pickups, too. Super comfy!"

"We had a great stay at Sand Hotel. The location is right on a pedestrian shopping street full of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. (For an unforgettable meal, book a dinner reservation at the Old Iceland Restaurant.) All the local attractions are no more than a 15-20 minute walk, max. The hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet had lots of delicious choices. Rooms are comfortable with modern, tiled bathrooms. Staff are helpful & efficient. Easy access from Keflavik airport on the FlyBus - get off at stop #14, and the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk."
