"The location was great. Easy to get to the main attractions in Sintra. The breakfast was nice especially a great view in the dinning area. I liked the extra large bed! The rooms are older and worn, it needs an update! Even though it was summer weather in November , the heat was on! Didn’t sleep well the first night bec it was stuffy and warm. Second night, we turned off the heat and kept the window open to let the cool air in. We sat on the varanda in the evening, which was nice. Also, at 2:20...

"We could not have picked a better hotel from which to explore the idyllic area in and around Sintra. The hotel simply oozes charm, thanks to its venerable age and the high quality of its staff. Staying here is like staying in a hotel from a bygone age. The included breakfast was delicious and abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and could have easily stayed longer.
