We loved our accommodations and the cleaning staff. There was always a lounge available at the pool at anytime during the day. The beach is a short distance by car and a 10-15 minute walk and the Centrum grocery store is about 5 minutes by car and has a good supply of any needs. A great place to stay.

This is the best property we could have ever booked for our very first time in CuraƧao. If you are looking for a very touristy area, Blue Bay Resort is not for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxing experience, family friendly and just a short drive to the best beaches you will ever see, this is the place to be. You have 2 supermarkets just 3-5 mins away (driving). The private beach was so beautiful. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The balcony had spectacular views of the ocean, the golf course and the pool. Be mindful of the energy consumption because there is a limit before you get charged extra. Tip: make sure lights and AC are turned off when you leave the apt during the day. We are already planning our next trip to CUR and we will stay at the Blue Bay Resort.

This property has an exclusive private beach(others pay entry fee) that is gorgeous. Accessing it in the early am is a tranquil experience unlike visiting any other beach early.

Understand what you are booking

This is a super clean, ultra modern , well appointed apartment with stunning views and a lovely pool. It is not a full service hotel. You will need a car. It is 2 miles to the nearest supermarket. The beach and nearest restaurants are 1/2 to 3/4 miles away with some steep hills. We recommend using Coral&Coco to arrange car rental and tours in advance.

Loved the location and apartment, however, a few things are desired for the apartment, such as a curtain to cover the large glass doors so everyone canā€™t see in at all hours. They didnā€™t come to clean at all, just brought us clean towels. Also, if you are a light sleeper, the clinging of the sun shades outside may wake you frequently. Nonetheless, I would stay at The Reef again. The pool was beautiful and the area was nice and quiet. The apartment was nicely decorated in a cheek, modern design.

A beautiful and modern ocean view apartment, with all the necessary facilities. The pool area is cozy and reflects peace and quiet. Perfect for families and also couples. The beach is close by and offers several f&b options.

Unit was in a quiet area and beat the pool. Loved hearing the waterfall. The kitchen was stacked with all the essentials. Beach towels, drying rack, dishwasher fluid, washing machine pods. It was great. Tip: place hand soap in the powder room and kitchen. Also dishwasher liquid for small items instead of only dishwasher to conserve energy.

The appartement was beautiful, in a quiet and secluded spot of the resort. A parking space was provided at the appartement and the rental service for the appartement included free travel to and from the airport. The resort itself was beautiful with nice restaurant and a beach with great snorkeling opportunities. Coral&Coco were very friendly and super helpful, I would recommend them to all my friends and honestly would never consider booking accommodation on the island with anyone else.

Property was clean, pool was great and area was safe. Staff were friendly at security. The food wasnt the best on the beach. The apartment was lovely and had a majority of things you needed. There was construction but honestly I could have cared less of the noise, it wasnt irritating and you cant hear it when your inside. I have no complaints, but i do have 2 suggestions! Women need a full size mirror and a comforter would have been great, but i managed with a the sheet and 2 stack couch blankets. Overall, i would come back again!

Only minus: no TV in bedroom, no dining table or chairs inside, no proper/safe/clean walkway to the beach.

The apartment was really good BUT the whole stay was ruined by a big construction just in front of it starting at 7am. The bed wasnā€™t very good, super soft. For the price you would expect some calm. If you want to relax itā€™s not the place where you want to stay.

We fell in love with Blue Bay and will definitely be back . The apartment was beautifully decorated, was specious and super clean , patio was to die for with two steps from the pool. We did not use housekeeping but it was an option if staying for more than 5 days. Beds were comfortable , everyone was friendly , grocery store centrum few minutes away , blue bay beach was spectacular. The property management @coralandcoco was outstanding especially Mart, who saved us on the arrival. We had everything we needed accept blankets ( only flat sheet provided) I understand power is very expansive and they probably donā€™t want you to blast ac and cover yourself with heavy blanket but I wish sheet was not the only option There is construction next door to the Reef but it did not bother us at all . We live the modern design the beautiful properties being build around and hit some ideas for our own home . Thumbs up to architects! Thank you for very memorable stay.

Great property, wish beach was closer.

We enjoyed our stay at The Reef Blue Bay. The reef is about a 15 minute walk to the amenities of Blue Bay including restaurants, dive shop and beach, so it's best to drive to avoid the heat. The Reef is basically brand new, and there is daytime construction going on immediately next door. The pool is outstanding while the nearby beach is small. The resorts beach is offered to cruise ship passengers as an excursion, so check which days the cruise ships are in port to avoid even bigger crowds. Get to the beach early. The snorkeling at the beach is very beginner level around a manmade rock peninsula. VERY resort feel. Prices are astronomical for food, drinks, snorkel gear rental, beach cabanas ($100/day!)....luckily our stay included daily beach passes, otherwise $25 per person.

The Blue Bay resort as a whole is excellent (its a retreat from the hustle and bustle; despite the construction, it was still relatively quiet). The Reef, my issues were 1) The open floor open in master bedroom. The master bed and bathroom are approx 15 feet apart without a door (no privacy and unwelcomed visual and sound effects); 2) The apartment was a suana on artival. I understand the electricity is high in Curacao but the owner (or property manager) should see to it the apartment is comfortable.; 3) Only one TV in the apartment and there weren't local nor cable channels; 4) Being that they are advertising in the US market, it should be clear on major differences (especially 220v vs 110v outlets); 5) I wondered if the apartment had a proper walk-through. I had to report some things that i wasn't told about so i wouldn't be billed for damages.

My review is for a ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. We arrived and easily found the check in area at the airport - no problem except that they gave us absolutely no information about where the unit was actually located. They suggested we use our gps which we did and found the main gate, but we were unable to locate section T as there was no signs indicating itā€™s location. After asking several people we found out it was behind another building, down a dirt road - even then we thought it just couldnā€™t be there but we finally found it. Also, we asked at the airport if we would pass a supermarket - they said we would, but of course we didnā€™t! Btw - no map was available of the road from the airport or the blue bay area. Now to the unit - white, white, white - nothing but white - no picture on the wall - nothing. Master bathroom has NO DOOR! Is this a joke?? No towel bars, no hooks, no full length mirror. The bedrooms are TINY - queen beds with no dressers - only built in closets. Master bed mattress was so soft - it needs to be changed. Nothing charming about them at all. Btw - you need adapters - none were provided - we had to go buy them. Kitchen was fine - white everything. Outside area very nice but couldnā€™t use it due to the flies and mosquitoes _. We purchased mosquito coils and citronella. Pool area nice - lounges but no tables provided. Blue bay beach was really nice - white sand, nice restaurants and bars.
