"The best thing about this property was the staff! 100% if you are visiting please know they will treat you right. Especially bartender Michael I believe his name was spelt at the oasis pool as soon as you enter the pool area and Caesar the pool attendant. Caesar really made our days brighter so shout out to him and Michael the swim up pool bartender. Ask the staff about excursions and best spots, they’re all local and have the best advice!"

"I traveled alone with my teenage daughter for her birthday . The property was safe. The room was spacious and very clean. The food was very reasonably priced.staff was very helpful. Local restaurants were in walking distance. Airport was10 minutes away. I would highly recommended this villa. There are also larger villas available for larger families. "My husband and I, along with our 3 adult children and their spouses visited the Royal Islander to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The grounds were very well kept with tropical flowers all around. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with kitchenettes that we put to good use.The pool is large and clean and just a few steps from the beach and a waitress is always handy to provide cool beverages for everyone. We enjoyed the poolside Bingo and the Crafter's tables. Activities and excursions were easy to plan with the on site activity coordinator. The elevators are fast. Groceries, dining and shopping were all within just a short walk and if we needed a taxi, they were there within minutes. We and our family loved our time at the Royal Islander La Plage and will absolutely be coming back."

"Loved the private beach area with umbrellas and chairs , pool area, restaurant on site with delicious breakfast and dinner options. The swim up bar was very enjoyable. The staff was sooooo friendly and our rooms were SPOTLESS. Gift shop on site was as good as going out shopping around… and the market on the premises has anything you forgot. We took family pics out on the beach one night. Only negative was the bar down the street you can hear the music late at night. But as far as this property…. BOOK IT! "
