"We stayed at the Attican Motel while spending the day at Darien Lake and seeing a concert that night. It is only a 15 minute drive away. The motel sits on a hill above the main road, so it was pretty quiet. The photos don’t really do it justice and it looks even nicer in person. It’s a quaint family-run establishment and care has been taken to keeps things up to date for the most part. We were very comfortable here. Two things you’ll want to be prepared for though:
1) A $50 deposit is required at check-in. Bring cash because if you use a card, you only get $40 back.
2) The air conditioner works well, but is very old and noisy. Ear plugs are recommended if you’re going to use it. "
